Sleepy hair of morning or nap type really gets me. Skylar would walk into our kitchen with lots of hair going every which way--whooa. It's an intimate thing to be with someone when they are still warm from their bed and fuzzy headed, and even chicken bone limp.
Larson told me when he was 4 or 5 that he knew some nights when his hair went to sleep because it would lay down. He also knew when his hair woke up he said because you could see it. And truly, his hair seemed quite alive.
